Proceedings submission

 

OR 2003 Proceedings: Call for Papers 

The proceedings of OR 2003 will be published by Springer in the traditional OR proceedings series. All participants of OR2003 who contribute a talk are invited to submit a proceedings version of their talk. 

Information for Authors

Submitted papers will be judged on their contribution to the topic of the conference. The submissions will be refereed and the selected submissions will finally appear in the proceedings. 

When preparing your manuscript please take into account the following rules.

  • The submitted papers must not have appeared in, or have been submitted to, other symposia or journals. 
  • The submitted manuscripts have to be prepared either by using LaTeX2e or Microsoft Word. No other formats are allowed. In both cases, special style files provided by Springer have to be used.

  • Your article may be written in either English or German
  • All submissions have to strictly obey the page number limit of 8 pages (using the Springer LaTeX2e style files or the Springer Word templates; changing the page layout is forbidden). 

  • If you prefer to contribute an article with more than 8 pages, there exists the possibility of a journal submission. ( Details on journal submission

  • The first page of the manuscript must contain the names, mailing addresses and e-mail addresses of all authors. 
  • All figures have to be done electronically


Contributions violating one or more of the above rules, will be rejected and returned to the authors. 
 

How to Submit Your Manuscript 

  • The strict deadline for submissions is August 30, 2003
  • Use as subject of your mail ``proceedings OR2003 + name of the first author + number of the section to which the paper belongs to''. 
  • Please include the following files into your submission mail: 
    • Your LaTeX or Word source file (as a single file, with the only possible exception of figures). 
    • A PostScript or Adobe pdf file of your submission (or both). (Make sure that the text of all your files is identical and avoid using the option ``reverse order'' for PostScript files.) 
    • Figures which are not integrated in the LaTeX file, have to be sent as separate eps files.
